For the United Nations Development Programme’s Bureau for Policy and Programme Support (BPPS) – IATI (International Aid Transparency Initiative), Sandbox produced a series of four 3–5-minute explainer videos to introduce and guide users through the new IATI Datastore Query Builder.

These multilingual videos, available in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese, were designed to strengthen guidance and training for IATI’s diverse user groups, ultimately boosting confidence in navigating and analyzing IATI data. The series includes: Query Builder 101, Navigating the Query Builder Interface, and two examples of Building a Query and Understanding the Output

Each video blends live screen capture with animated overlays, walking users through key features and demonstrating real-use scenarios. Sandbox managed all aspects of scripting, storyboarding, screen capture, translation, and voiceover production. By delivering high-quality, accessible instructional content, we helped IATI further its mission of improving transparency and data use across the development sector.
