Highlighting SIDS’ leadership in sustainable oceans

As a continuation of a longstanding digital storytelling partnership with UNDP BERA, Sandbox developed a dynamic video for the UN Ocean's Conference. Combining live-action underwater videography, aerial footage, and custom motion graphics, we created a mixed-format video that highlights the vital connection between global well-being and ocean health. Specifically, the work spotlights Small Island Developing States and their role in championing a Blue-Green Economy. By demonstrating UNDP’s allyship in inclusive, innovative solutions, the video subtly and strategically calls audiences to action, encouraging viewers to share in the responsibility of protecting an integral part of our ecosystem.
